Stores Assistant (HE LLC)

In this role as a Stores Assistant, you will be responsible in assisting the Warehouse Manager with inventory, ensuring the correct quantities of materials/components received, and allocating their storage/use.For any business to succeed, it is crucial to ensure an efficient stock management, and as such, the Stores Assistant must effectively work with the Warehouse Manager in this position.Hanley Energy is a busy company within the Critical Power & Energy Management Industry, so you will have to be the type of person who can handle changing priorities, who can manage multiple tasks and who has an outgoing personality to always be welcoming and friendly, both face-to-face and over the phone.Reporting to: Warehouse ManagerWarehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:Receive incoming deliveries, check for damage and discrepancies between delivery document and actual receipts.Store products in designated locations and book product into stock.Process any goods returned and return to appropriate location.Process non-conforming material as per documented procedure.Contribute to the optimization of the warehouse space.Monitor, Maintain and set stock levels, inform procurement of replenishment needs.Ensure all stock within the warehouse and vehicles is monitored/recorded.Making sure documentation is correct on incoming and outgoing products.Pull stock for all Bill of Materials associated with the demand to supply kits in a timely manner to insure the smooth running of allocation of goods.Liaise with other departments including purchasing, sales, PMO etc. to identify and resolve any stock issues that may impact on the efficient operation of the business.Arrange shipping for loose sales on time, ensuring they are being tracked.Carry out monthly stock-take and update SAP.Organize and prepare logistics of stock for dispatch to site/customer.Warehouse Assistant position requirements:Previous experience working in warehouse environment.Computer and Software skills such as excel, e-mail, word and SAPStrong networking, influencing and communication skillsReliable with a strong work ethicHave a background working with Stock or ProductionBe able to understand technical and engineering components.Valid US driver’s license and clean driving recordCompany Benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision with Company Contributions401(k) Plan with Company MatchCompany Paid: Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term DisabilityPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)This position is bonus eligible.Employee Assistance ProgramHanely Energy is a V-3 Certified EmployerEEO is our Policy and the Law!
