POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient’s clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in their condition or treatment response. You will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the patient population served. Additionally, you will promote the nursing profession and professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a current nursing license in the State of Connecticut.

• Must possess Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications upon hire or obtain them during the introductory orientation period, maintaining clinical competency throughout employment in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.

• Basic computer skills are required.
