Product Owner – Configure to Quote (C2Q) | Lifecycle Services

The Rockwell Automation Lifecycle Services Business (LCS) is excited to bring on the team someone who will help promote and mature our Configure to Quote (C2Q) capabilities across our portfolio of offerings. This Product Owner role is an Individual Contributor (IC) position, requiring a high level of autonomy, ownership, and direct impact on business processes and outcomes. You will represent our LCS business as part of the broader enterprise Configure to Quote capabilities. These capabilities are within the Digital Infrastructure program. The team will focus on reducing complexity, removing friction, and allowing faster, more reliable buying decisions. You will partner with both the LCS business and the C2Q technical teams to develop a functional roadmap and implement deliverables. You combine business process expertise, knowledge of Lifecycle Services, and the ability to translate our needs into IT solutions, creating both immediate and long‑term revenue in a global environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Build Lifecycle Services Configure‑to‑Quote deployment roadmap and feature development across the full lifecycle, delivering incremental value through Agile methodologies.
• Be the product owner and important liaison between LCS (Portfolio and commercial teams) and Configure to Quote (C2Q) technology teams.
• Establish governance for intake, backlog management, estimating, road mapping, visibility, and prioritisation.
• Document our‑state business processes, including workflows and process maps.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions by partnering with business and technology your team.
• Define user stories with IT to clarify system, architecture, and data requirements that support the global process.
• Partner with Success Enablement and Readiness teams to assess change impacts, including role changes, training needs, and communications for impacted team members.
• Support testing, validation, deployment, release planning, and issue resolution.
• Define and track important metrics for adoption, accuracy, and performance while supporting migration from current‑state tools to future‑state solutions.
• Improve prioritisation decisions based on Value, growth, and customer experience outcomes.

The Essentials – You Will Have

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

The Preferred – You Might Also Have

• 5+ years of relevant business experience, within a service business or related industry
• Exposure to Lifecycle Services (LCS) business models and processes
• Experience with product configuration, quoting, proposal management, pricing products, and pricing systems
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, RA Advisor, Service Proposal Tool, SAP CRM/ECC, Power BI
• Working knowledge of CPQ, quote‑to‑cash, order management, SaaS enablement, subscription lifecycle models, and renewals management
• Experience with process mapping, business process improvement, requirements gathering, and gap analysis
• Experience translating needs into IT and system‑driven solutions
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Miro
• Track record in product ownership, project management, business systems analysis, or business/process transformation

• This is an Individual Contributor role, requiring ownership while influencing teams
• Experience with end‑to‑end lifecycle services and business processes
• Design, map, and improve processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and standardisation
• Capability to act as a bridge between business and IT, translating operational needs into system capabilities
• Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement
• Mindset with focus on process optimisation and value delivery
