Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Control Technician for our Houston facility. This position reports directly to the Design Control Manager and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing and metallurgy. The Design Control Technician will support design control, testing, documentation, and quality-related activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualified candidate resumes will be reviewed before interviews are scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Support design control, manufacturing, testing, and quality-related activities.
• Use basic CAD software, data entry systems, and precision testing tools.
• Maintain accurate testing records, technical documentation, and data.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to meet production and quality requirements.
• Manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work extended hours, weekends, and on-call rotations when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing, testing, or quality technician role.
• Experience in manufacturing and metallurgy.
• Proficiency with basic CAD software and data entry systems.
• Experience using precision testing tools, including multimeters and calipers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong spatial reasoning skills.
• Effective verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, Saturdays, Sundays, and on-call assignments as necessary.
