Job Title: RN – ICU (Critical Care)

Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy ICU team. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced intensive care environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and specialized interventions as ordered
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment and life-support systems
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and changes in clinical status
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Active Compact State RN License required
• Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU experience prior to any travel assignments required
• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• Current AHA ACLS Certification required
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Experience working in high-acuity critical care environments preferred
• Must successfully complete ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
