About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Locums OB/GYN Physician to provide 24-hour coverage in Warrenton, Virginia. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including emergency evaluations, labor and delivery management, and surgical procedures. Some shifts have a midwife serving as the first call.

Schedule & Coverage

· 24-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

· Weekend coverage required

· On-call responsibilities required

· Some shifts include midwife first-call coverage

Responsibilities

· Perform emergency obstetric and gynecological surgeries as needed.

· Conduct OB/GYN triage evaluations and manage urgent clinical presentations.

· Provide labor and delivery management.

· Deliver recovery and postpartum care.

· Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plans.

· Collaborate with midwives, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

· Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech.

Requirements

· Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

· Current DEA registration.

· Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

· Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.

· Experience with labor and delivery, postpartum care, and emergency surgical procedures.

· Availability for 24-hour shifts, including weekends and on-call coverag.
