Outside Service Sales Representative - HVAC Services Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Reports to: VP of Operations Type: Full-Time | Outside Sales | Field-Based Build a Service Business From the Ground Up (DFW) NTD Mechanical is hiring an Outside Service Sales Representative to grow our commercial HVAC service business across the Dallas-Fort Worth and north Texas market. This is a newly created, high-impact role for someone who wants to build a book of business — not inherit one. You’ll focus on preventive maintenance agreements, equipment replacements, and retrofit opportunities, working directly with building owners, property managers, and facility leaders. If you’ve sold HVAC service, mechanical services, or building services and are looking for more ownership, autonomy, and upside — this is your opportunity. What You’ll Be Responsible For New Business Development Prospect and close new HVAC service agreements (PM contracts) Generate opportunities for retrofits, replacements, and system upgrades Build relationships with: Property managers Facility managers Building owners Develop and manage your own territory pipeline using CRM tools Account Growth & Retention Manage and renew service agreements Identify upsell opportunities (energy efficiency upgrades, controls, IAQ, etc.) Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business Internal Collaboration Partner with Service Managers and Estimators to convert project clients into long-term service customers Track pipeline, forecasts, and activity in CRM Provide feedback on market trends and competitive landscape Required Experience What We’re Looking For 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following: HVAC service sales Mechanical contracting Building services sales (HVAC, plumbing, facilities) Experience selling: Preventive maintenance (PM) agreements Service contracts OR equipment replacements Core Skill Set Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close deals Strong understanding of HVAC systems and service offerings Experience working with commercial clients (property managers, facilities, etc.) CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) Self-starter mindset — comfortable building a territory from scratch What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 100% company-paid life insurance ($50,000). 401(k) with discretionary company match.
