Senior Manager, Transaction Services, C&IP Value Creation We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join West Monroe’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. In this role you’ll lead functional and technology assessments during due diligence and help plan carve‑out or merger integration transactions for corporate and private‑equity clients. You’ll also shape office culture and participate in practice development as we grow rapidly. Responsibilities Lead teams serving clients across consumer & industrial products, demonstrating executive presence with C‑level counterparts. Support private‑equity funds in buy‑side, sell‑side, mergers, carve‑outs, and value‑creation & planning projects. Assess technology & functional investment strategies, compare operating models against industry benchmarks. Guide engagements, preparing request lists, agenda, client reviews, and deliverable leadership. Lead post‑close value‑creation projects and PMOs for digital transformation of portfolio companies. Manage project economics: budgets, invoices, collections. Analyze data to identify core findings and trends that support recommendations across technology and operations. Create storyline for deliverables that tie data analysis, visualizations, recommendations, and financial impacts. Improve M&A methodologies and client delivery approaches within the C&IP team. Write industry perspective pieces and research for the C&IP manufacturing focus. Coach consultants, participate in performance reviews. Translate client strategy into concrete engagements and proposals. Initiate and lead business‑development meetings and pricing/risks assessments for prospects. Understand investment needs and turn them into detailed proposals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Strong project‑management methodology background (schedule, scope, risk, change, strategic planning). Prior M&A (deal & carve‑out/merger) experience preferred. High proficiency with Excel. Experience with large, complex datasets. Industry experience in manufacturing & distribution preferred. Experience managing or analyzing P&L statements and financial modeling for M&A synergies.
