Allied Technician - Pharmacist

Inpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking a qualified Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team on an urgent basis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hospital experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in Critical Access Hospitals. This role entails supporting various departments, including ICU, L&D, M/S, and ED.

Shift Notes:

• Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 4 PM (arrival 6:30 AM - 7 AM)
• Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend (Saturday/Sunday 7 AM - 12 PM; arrival 6:30 AM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting.
• Work independently during weekend shifts.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize Meditech for medication management; familiarity with Omnicell is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital experience is required.
• 2-5 years of total experience preferred; candidates with 1 year of hospital-based experience and Meditech familiarity may also be considered.
• Critical Access Hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Previous travel experience is a plus.
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills.

Certification Requirements:

• Active American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• New Hampshire State Pharmacist License is required; candidates must apply upon acceptance of offer (30-day processing time).
