Summary Pre Admission Registered Nurse – 40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Day Shift The registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned patient regardless of age, providing care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures. The nurse promotes positive patient outcomes, delivers quality patient care, and initiates change through active involvement in unit‑based and hospital shared governance councils, contributing to a healthy professional practice environment. National Professional Nursing Standards guide nurses in utilizing critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and appropriate nursing judgment. The nurse collaborates with the inter‑professional team to enhance patient outcomes and serves as a role model by actively participating in continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Responsibilities Implement the nursing process for all assigned patients. Provide patient care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies. Promote positive patient outcomes and quality patient care. Initiate change through active involvement in unit‑based and hospital shared governance councils. Collaborate with inter‑professional team to enhance patient outcomes. Act as a role model by participating in continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Requirements Active Kentucky license. Background Checks and Licensure (BCLS) within 90 days of hire. Willingness to cross‑train in Endo/Pre‑Post areas. Relevant work experience and education in nursing.
