Warehouse LeadLocation: Grove City, OH 43123 — 100% onsitePay Rate: $23.00/hr W2Shift: 1st shift, Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, plus Saturday coverage every other weekDuration: 6 months, contract-to-hireMUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 1 year in a lead, keyholder, or supervisory capacity in a warehouseExperience directing a team of 8–12 warehouse associatesWMS (Warehouse Management System) experience — must be comfortable pulling and reading productivity reportsForklift certifiedROLE SUMMARY:Working shift lead / floor foreman in a 3PL distribution environment. Opens the 1st shift, assigns 8–12 associates across picking, packing, receiving and put-away, redirects labor as volume shifts, pulls and interprets WMS productivity reports to track associate rate performance, operates a forklift hands-on as needed, and acts as keyholder-level authority on the floor. Reports to a warehouse supervisor/manager.TARGET BACKGROUNDS:3PL warehouses, distribution centers (retail, grocery, auto parts, e-commerce fulfillment), manufacturing shipping/receiving with a lead layer, big-box retail backroom/freight team leads, military/veteran junior NCOs with supply or logistics MOS.TARGET TITLES:Warehouse Lead, Lead Warehouse Associate, Warehouse Team Lead, Shift Lead, Keyholder, Shipping Lead, Receiving Lead, Inventory Lead, Dock Lead, Crew Lead.GEOGRAPHY:Grove City, Columbus, Groveport, Obetz, Hilliard, Ohio — within commuting distance of 43123.SCREENING NON-NEGOTIABLES / CLIENT CONCERNS:- External candidates must clearly exceed the bar of an internal associate also under consideration.- Client rejects candidates with a pattern of short lead tenure — two prior submittals were promoted to lead at a prior employer then left within 6 months. Stable lead tenure is required.- Must accept every-other-week Saturday coverage and a 6:00 AM start.- Must be authorized to work on W2.EXCLUDE: delivery drivers, CDL/truck drivers, interns, entry-level warehouse associates with no lead responsibility.Additional requirements: HARD REQUIREMENT — Work Authorization: W2. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
