Electrician I/II/III

The Electrician I/II/III is responsible for skilled technical work in the installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of various electrical components and equipment in City facilities. Tasks involve the use of acquired skills in electrical installation and general maintenance, electrical repair and construction activities related to building operations. Electrician II requires a Journeyman Electrical license issued by the State of Colorado, or reciprocal state. Electrician III requires a Master Electrical license issued by the State of Colorado, or reciprocal state. This position will also be required to work on non-electrical issues performed by the division. It is a mandatory requirement of this position to work overtime, take weekend duty, and be on-call for facility and emergencies. Must be able to reach the City limits, within 60 minutes after being contacted, when on-call. This is a safety-sensitive position.

The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate as follows: Electrician I: $74,942.40 - $95,929.60; Electrician II: $80,537.60- $103,126.40 (requires a Journeyman Electrical license); Electrician III: $86,569.60 - $110,801.60 (requires a Master Electrical license). The City of Westminster has a Multilingual Stipend Program to encourage, and reward benefited employees who are conversationally fluent in languages other than English. Benefited employees have the opportunity to test their language proficiency skills and qualify for a bi-weekly stipend that will vary based on the employee's level of proficiency and usage.
