Director, Estimating (Electrical)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, assemble, and supervise the MEP Cost & Commercial Management team on office or major client projects.
• Recruit, train, and develop the team, and lead new business planning initiatives.
• Prepare fee proposals, negotiate professional services agreements, and provide quality assurance to project cost estimates.
• Demonstrate strong fiscal acumen in managing the assigned business profit center or client.
• Consult executive‑level existing clientele, showcasing services and providing solutions to increase revenue.
• Partner with other Cumming service line leaders to provide an integrated project approach and set Cumming apart from competitors.
• Provide suggestions to senior leadership on cost‑management operations and company, regional, and sector goal setting.
• Oversee quality of team output and coach for excellent performance.
• Grow revenue in diverse service offerings or markets and maintain fiscal performance in accordance with company goals.
• Provide timely business reporting, including forecasts and P&L interpretation, to senior management.
• Mentor and lead team development, approve invoices, and pursue accounts receivable with F&A.
• Set strategy for business development and marketing and provide organizational leadership in the area of responsibility.
• Attend to normal business hours and perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 12+ years in Electrical Cost & Commercial Management, with 5+ years leading client expectations and managing a business unit.
• Professional accreditation – MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE, or equivalent.

Salary Range

$133,100.00 - $186,366.69 per year (base salary only).
