Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Diploma completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Nursing Diploma. - OR - ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Credentials: - BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Unit Details: - Post-op Neurosurgery and ENT patients. - Neurosurgeries include brain and spinal surgeries, traumas, cancer, stroke, and intracranial bleeds. - ENT surgeries include head and neck malignancies, cancer, infection, and procedures involving the head, mouth, tongue, jaw, thyroid, and oropharynx. - Required to function as charge nurse as needed; will be trained.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
