Our quickly expanding company is looking for an experienced multi-family rehab construction project manager to help oversee multiple rehab projects at apartment complexes in the Columbus, OH area.

Ideal candidate must be upbeat, self-motivated, able to work both independently and as a team, multi-task and demonstrate excellent communication and people skills, both written and oral.

Construction Field Manager Job Description:

The prospective manager will have previous experience as a Construction Project Manager in the multi-family or general construction industry.

Some duties or functions of the job are as follows:

• Must be able to scope, estimate, and manage rehab projects.
• Must be able to manage employee tradesman and subcontractors for the various trades.
• Reviews job scope and estimate with customer to obtain approval to begin projects.
• Ensure all proper paperwork, permits, and payment schedules are in order before job begins.
• Create job schedules and issue work orders to company tradesmen and subcontractors.
• Maintains excellent communication with customer throughout the entirety of the job.
• Review and sign off on all work completed by subcontractors.
• Ensures that any quality issues are quickly resolved.
• Proactive daily review of job with management.

Skills and/or Knowledge Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of building, rehab and construction including materials and methods needed to complete projects.
• Ability to control costs without sacrificing quality.
• Ability to read plans and blueprints.
• Ability to manage, motivate, guide, and direct subordinates.
• Detail oriented and multi-tasking

Additional Information:

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year commensurate on experience

Schedule:

• Salary, 8–10-hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent

Experience:

• Construction management: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License
