About the Role:

As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the early development and growth of children aged 1 to 3 years. Your primary focus will be to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports toddlers' emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. You will design and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play. Collaborating closely with parents and caregivers, you will provide regular updates on each child's progress and work together to meet their individual needs. Ultimately, your efforts will lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and well-being in the children under your care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.
• Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications such as CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.
• Experience with inclusive classrooms and working with children with special needs.
• Familiarity with early childhood education frameworks such as Creative Curriculum or Montessori methods.
• Strong in family engagement and communication strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct daily educational and recreational activities tailored to toddlers' developmental stages.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic classroom environment by following all health and safety regulations.
• Observe and document each child's progress, behavior, and milestones to inform individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development, daily experiences, and any concerns.
• Support toddlers in developing basic self-help skills such as feeding, dressing, and toileting with patience and encouragement.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to the emotional and physical needs of toddlers throughout the day.
• Willing to take on Potty training

Effective communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear and compassionate information exchange. Patience, creativity, and adaptability are vital for managing the dynamic and sometimes unpredictable nature of working with young children. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of specialized curricula and experience with diverse learners, enhance the teacher's ability to provide inclusive and enriched educational experiences.
