How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide high-level clinical nursing for all deliveries, prioritizing safety and excellence.
• Design, implement, and adjust real-time patient care plans. Monitor and communicate vital patient condition changes to ensure mother and baby safety.
• Serve as the central point for the multidisciplinary team, coordinating physicians, specialists, and support staff for seamless, holistic care.
• Precisely and empathetically manage the birth experience, from executing physician orders to meticulously planning for safe discharge

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following are preferred:

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Previous Labor and Delivery experience is preferred
