Travel RN – Operating Room (5x8's, Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flex availability required, including ability to accept calls after hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a 10-OR surgical suite serving a diverse surgical patient population
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including MAKO (hips, knees, shoulders) and DaVinci (urology, general, gynecology) systems
• Demonstrate nurse leadership skills while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Maintain flexibility to shift priorities and adapt to changing surgical schedules as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated nurse leadership and OR background

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AORN certification or membership
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms (MAKO, DaVinci)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Flexible, adaptable personality with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced surgical environment
