Overview Danis is currently hiring for a full-time Acoustic Ceiling Installer for commercial construction projects including hospitals, life sciences, food & bev manufacturing and more. Responsibilities Duties: Read ceiling prints Lay out ceilings Install grid systems square and level Ability to maintain good quality and be productive Calculate how much material will be required Assist with inventory Keep up with job flow and schedule Knowledge of specs and codes Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of different products Experience with seismic clips Experience with clouds and canopies Experience with cutting all types of ceiling tile Effectively work with other employees in a positive manner Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum 2 year’s experience working with ceilings High School diploma or GED preferred Additional Requirements: Pass a pre-employment drug test Have reliable transportation Working Conditions: Work is often performed outside under any type of weather conditions. Exposure to varying degrees/amounts of heat, cold, dust, dampness, ice, precipitation and mud. Physical Demands: Must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on scaffolds and ladders; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects and materials; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively to meet the physical demands of our industry.
