Clinical Research Coordinator II, Critical Care

Job Summary Position: Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC‑II) Responsible for supporting multiple human subjects research projects and performing core CRC duties such as protocol feasibility assessment, regulatory submission to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), participant recruitment, data collection, record completion, audit participation, material management, cross‑team communication, and archival per policies. Key Responsibilities Assess feasibility of clinical research protocols. Prepare and submit materials for institutional review board (IRB) review. Identify and recruit potential study participants. Coordinate and collect research data and specimens. Maintain study records accurately and within timelines. Participate in quality assurance audits. Manage study materials, supplies, and archival records. Communicate across multiple teams and stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum three years of clinical research coordination experience. Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of human subjects regulatory requirements and ICH‑GCP guidelines; preferred: ability to conduct informed consent. Working knowledge of an electronic medical record system (Cerner or similar) and sample identification, processing, and storage. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; preferred: Phlebotomy and professional clinical research credentials (ACRP‑CP, CCRP, CCRC). Physical & Environmental Requirements Lifts and carries 25‑35 lbs., pushes/pulls 50‑100 lbs. Can perform bending, reaching, climbing, keyboard use, repetitive motions. Must tolerate varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, chemical exposure).
