Activity Aide

Join our team at Saint Joseph's Villa & Court in David City, NE! We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activity Aide. As an Activity Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As an Activity Aide, your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the development and implementation of recreational programs Encouraging resident participation in activities and events Providing one-on-one support to residents who may need extra assistance Maintaining documentation of resident participation and progress Collaborating with other staff members to create a positive and supportive environment The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong passion for working with older adults and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A background in recreational therapy or a related field is a plus, but not required. We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, and compassionate, and who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our residents.
