Quality Inspector

1st Shift

6 am - 2:30 pm

Perrysburg Ohio

$17/hr - Paid Weekly

This position will work directly within the manufacturing operation to help ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured products to ensure they meet established quality requirements and specifications.

• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.

• Conduct visual inspections and required product testing.

• Identify defective or nonconforming products and communicate quality concerns.

• Ensure established inspection and testing procedures are properly followed.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

• Assist with investigating product defects and quality-related issues.

• Communicate quality concerns to production and quality leadership.

• Help ensure corrective actions are followed when quality issues are identified.

• Monitor production for compliance with established quality standards.

• Maintain required reports, records, and other quality documentation.

• Promote quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the production environment.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or quality inspection experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to identify defects and recognize when a product does not meet specifications.

• Strong basic reading, writing, and math skills.

• Ability to accurately complete inspection paperwork and documentation.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work around operating production equipment.
