Front Desk Monitor, Per Diem
Lower Eastside Service Center
Description
Coordinates and actively manages the movement of clients into and out of the program site. In coordination with program staff, Front Desk Monitor controls any packages and other items being brought into the program site. Coordinates, trains, and oversees clients who work the reception desk during periods when not stationed.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Works at the first floor reception desk, maintains control of all people entering the building.
- Greets visitors, determines the purpose of their business, and contacts the appropriate staff member with whom they are meeting.
- Ensures that they sign the visitor confidentiality form.
- Meets residents returning from trips outside the building, inspects any packages or items that are being brought into the building.
- Observes clients’ demeanor to help identify anyone who may be intoxicated.
