Project Executive I - Civil Infrastructure

Summary Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Executive responsible for providing overall management of large civil infrastructure projects, leading the project team, ensuring successful customer relations, and supporting business development to win work. Responsibilities Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships. Conduct key customer service visits from pre‑construction to close‑out. Preview proposals and participate in the request for proposal process. Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects. Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships. Provide oversight and accountability for large projects. Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices. Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the project team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of construction management experience overseeing large projects. Civil infrastructure experience required. Proven ability to manage development to close‑out responsibilities for multiple complex projects. Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks. Understand construction law and generally accepted business practices. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, project, and relevant web applications. Positive professional attitude and strong customer service skills. Ability to interpret and communicate company policies. Current driver’s license.
