Full-Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner | Somerset, PA

We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient wound care program in the Somerset, PA area .

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys hands-on, procedure-focused patient care and wants a predictable schedule with strong clinical support and specialized training.

Position Highlights

• Full-Time | 5 days per week
• Monday–Friday schedule
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
• Outpatient, hospital-based wound care setting
• Primarily focused on wound evaluation, treatment, and procedures

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform procedures including sharp debridement, suturing, incision and drainage, and other wound-related procedures
• Manage wound-related conditions including pressure injuries, diabetic wounds, venous ulcers, arterial wounds, and complex non-healing wounds
• Coordinate care with other members of the patient's healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on wound prevention, treatment, and long-term management
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

What We're Looking For

• Nurse Practitioner with active Pennsylvania licensure
• Board Certified / Board Eligible
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Comfortable performing office-based procedures
• Wound care experience is preferred, but not required
• Procedural experience with debridement, suturing, or incision and drainage is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
