Experienced Hospital Manager

You'll be the champion for a positive, engaged, and collaborative team environment that aligns with our WAG values. You'll guide the career development of all team members, from onboarding and training to long-term growth and success. You'll have ownership of the hospital's financial health, managing the P&L, labor costs, and inventory to meet and exceed business goals. You'll take the lead on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent for all hospital roles. You'll ensure every client and pet receives exceptional service, proactively addressing concerns to build lasting community relationships.

We're seeking an experienced veterinary leader who is passionate about developing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional patient and client care. This opportunity is ideal for a proven leader who enjoys partnering with veterinarians, mentoring team members, and creating a positive, high-performing hospital culture.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experienced veterinary hospital leadership required
• Demonstrated business acumen, including budgeting, labor management, P&L accountability, revenue growth, and operational decision-making
• Proven success coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and hold teams accountable
• The ability to partner effectively with veterinarians and support staff to achieve shared goals
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and change management skills
• A track record of driving operational efficiency, client experience, and overall hospital performance
• A passion for continuous improvement and developing people
• A desire to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact within a thriving veterinary practice

Proven experience managing a P&L, with a track record of driving results. A successful background in recruiting, interviewing, and building high-quality teams. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive, high-performing culture. Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills. Previous management experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-focused retail environment is required.
