Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll help guide learners through their academic journeys from August 17, 2026, through June 2, 2027. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) and LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience teaching junior high or high school students preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to a student-centered approach
• Strong ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with fellow educators and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Create a supportive classroom environment that nurtures confidence, independence, and achievement
• Employ effective classroom management to foster respect and safety
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for student progress and IEP meetings
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as needed
