Women's Health Clinical Coordinator

The Women's Health Clinical Coordinator supports comprehensive women's health services in Greater Baden Medical Services. This role is responsible for coordinating patient care, managing referrals, and assisting with grant-funded programs such as Title X and Thrive by Three.

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinate and schedule OB/GYN appointments, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic visits.
2. Confirm appointments and conduct patient outreach to reduce no-show rates.
3. Schedule and coordinate GYN procedures within the clinic.
4. Schedule and coordinate OB/GYN procedures with community partners, including hospitals.
5. Manage and track internal and external referrals, including maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) services.
6. Track, follow up, and coordinate care for patients with abnormal cancer screenings.
7. Coordinate care and services for BCCDT applicants.
8. Track and manage LARC devices, including ordering and inventory.
9. Coordinate meetings for the clinical team.
10. Provide coordination support for Title X Family Planning Services, Thrive by Three maternal and early childhood initiatives.
11. Provide back-up support for the medical assistant team, which includes all functions of a clinical medical assistant.
12. Works collaboratively with clinic and operation teams on programs to improve patient outcomes. Assists in organizing and participating in (QAPI) Quality Assurance/ Performance Improvement activities as assigned.
13. Assists with other administrative tasks and clinical care as assigned by the Center Manager.

Nonessential Functions:

1. Participates in team/staff meetings; attends in-service meetings and applicable workshops.
2. Performs all other duties necessary for patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification of competency.
2. Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
3. 5 years of clinical experience required in OB/GYN as a Medical Assistant

Work Environment:

This job operates in an outpatient office environment. This role is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, and high stress situations or events.

2. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

4. Must be able to lift or catch patient weighing more than 50 pounds in the event of emergency.
5. Performs with frequent interruption or distractions.
