Registered Nurse - Operating RoomMinimum 2 years of OR RN experience required. Prior travel experience required. Must have experience in a large (500+ bed) Level I trauma facility. BLS certification required. EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory and nonnegotiable. Circulate and scrub skills checklists must be included at submission. RN must be able to scrub all specialties except CVOR, including general, GU, GYN, ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, laparoscopic, trauma, thoracic, and vascular cases.Setting: HospitalCity: BurlingtonState: VTTeaching Hospital: YesComputer Charting System: EPICProcedures: RN will perform both circulating and scrubbing duties across multiple surgical specialties, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, intraoperative monitoring, instrument and supply management, documentation in EPIC, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia teams. RN must respond effectively during trauma and complex surgical cases. On-call responsibilities require readiness for emergency procedures. Orientation and compliance requirements must be completed prior to independent assignment.Unit Description: Operating Room RN position with rotating 10-hour day/evening shifts for a 16–32 week assignment. Typical schedule includes three primary day shifts plus one off-shift rotation (8:45a–7:15p, 10:45a–9:15p, or 12:45p–11:15p). Weekly call includes one weekday call and one 24-hour call per four-week block. RN must be flexible to meet unit and patient care needs. Role is within a high-volume, large trauma Level I facility.
