Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent clinical decisions.
- Provide care in an ICU-level unit that monitors and treats medical, surgical, and cardiac patients who have experienced shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring continuity across shifts and services.
- Document patient status, responses to interventions, and outcomes to support safe and effective care transitions.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- BLS certification; ACLS as applicable to ICU practice
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity setting
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills; ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
