Offer code: P- ZB322 Start date ASAP Duration 6+ months Contract type Freelance Interim Salary from 300€/day Location Germany Field of expertise Design Job description lead and coordinate design activities for plastic components during the final tuning and industrialization phase; ensure all parts meet customer quality, functionality, and manufacturing requirements while adhering to timing and cost targets; drive the design tuning of physical parts for serial production, ensuring compliance with customer (Porsche) standards; manage and guide CAD engineers in creating and updating 3D and 2D data; conduct style surface, gap & flush, and stack-up analyses; validate supplier designs (Tier 2) and coordinate technical data flow; lead design reviews, monitor action plans, and ensure CAD database integrity; participate in tool trials, cubing events, and final tuning adjustments; communicate directly with customer engineering teams to validate design decisions; proven track record as Design Leader or Senior CAD Engineer in the automotive plastics field, ideally with Porsche, Audi, or BMW; expertise in CATIA V5/V6 (own license advantage); strong understanding of plastic design rules, isostatism, and tolerance stack-up; experience with serial production tuning and geometry validation.
