Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Evansville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
