Position Summary We are currently seeking multiple Assemblers for the 2nd shift. Primary duties include drilling and deburring parts, assembling component parts, installing ground studs, attaching nutplates or bonding. In all actions the sample supports the Quality Policy, Mission Statement and company policies by committing to total customer satisfaction, quality products, lean processes, continuous improvement, on‑time delivery, safety, teamwork, individual accountability and respect for people. Essential Job Responsibilities Follow process specifications, work orders, blueprints, rework/rejection tags, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders and instruction; interpret documents to determine sequence and methods for assembly and repair of sheet metal products. Pull parts from bins; report shortages to Supervisor. Work with different gauge and types of sheet metal aluminum per product specifications. Clean components and load onto jig/fixture. Drill, ream, rivet, fit, countersink, adjust, finish and inspect parts to ensure specifications are met. Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces. Call for inspection and work rework to engineering to eliminate non‑conformance. Scrutinize every facet; report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, or unusual conditions to Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates without a diploma will be required to take a pre‑employment assessment. Minimum 2+ years of assembly experience with sheet metal, preferably in aircraft. Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to follow work instructions, and effective communication skills are essential. Prior experience with blueprints and precision measuring devices, and skill with small hand tools are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud. Must wear PPE (eye, ear, foot protection). Occasionally lift or move up to 10‑50 pounds.
