Revenue Audit Clerk

Magnolia Hill LLC – Compliance, Riverwalk, MS. Riverwalk Casino, located in Vicksburg, MS. JOB SUMMARY The Employee will review and audit revenues from all revenue-producing departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but are not limited to: Auditing all paperwork for each revenue producing department at Riverwalk Casino Hotel and Harlow’s Casino Resort and Spa Preparing Daily Revenue Journals Ensuring that adequate supporting documentation exists for all transactions Preparing routine and special reports as assigned Maintaining a tracking system for issued/redeemed slips, coupons, etc. for proper accountability Securing the integrity of all gaming and non-gaming paperwork by filing paperwork quickly and properly as described by your supervisor Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Must have the ability to obtain a Gaming License issued by the Mississippi Gaming Commission General knowledge of bookkeeping terminology and methods General knowledge of standard office procedures, practices and equipment Knowledge of routine accounting principles Ability to maintain complex financial records and to prepare reports and statements Ability to make mathematical computations quickly and accurately Ability to post accounts with speed and accuracy Ability to operate efficiently a variety of office machines Must have good computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Office Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent is required. Working knowledge of basic and intermediate accounting procedures preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms, bend and have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
