Senior Family Law Attorney

We are working with a growing law firm, looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 4+ years of family law experience, in addition to matrimonial experience.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Family Law experience
• 2+ years of matrimonial experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and in good standing

Responsibilities:

• Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
• Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
• Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation and forming a strategy for a plan of action
• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed

The annual salary for this position is between 160k-200k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
