Physician Office Manager Concierge Aventura

Job Summary Position: Concierge Manager – Aventura Department: CC207745 Concierge Aventura Location: Aventura, FL Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the employed physician practice, ensuring accuracy and completeness of staffing, productivity, billing and core functions. Review end‑of‑month reports, denial reports, billing and collection reports, financial and trending reports; present issues and suggestions to Regional Practice Administrator and Director. Provide monthly summary of practice operations (staffing, financial reports, billing and collection reports) to Regional Practice Administrator and Director for presentation during monthly operating review meetings. Conduct monthly staff meetings with practice staff and physicians to keep them apprised of any changes on office policy or procedures, administrative directives, growth and patient satisfaction. Support practice by understanding scheduling, front desk, insurance verification and billing/batch functions and covering these positions as needed. Assist with monitoring payroll to ensure overtime is minimized and proper prior approvals are obtained. Attend monthly Office Coordinator / Manager meetings. Maintain working knowledge of physician billing function and managed care. Review weekly practice operations with Regional Practice Administrator and/or Director to ensure appointment schedules and demographics are complete and accurate; monitor batches for completeness and timeliness in being submitted for billing. Communicate daily to the administrative team outlining practice issues, concerns and development of action plans; make regular recommendations to Regional Practice Administrator regarding process improvements. Monitor and report to Regional Practice Administrator/Director any compliance concerns with the employed physician and/or staff. Evaluate and complete employee job performance evaluations in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor cash controls of the practices to ensure management of petty cash, receipts and collections are in compliance with practice policy; review weekly deposits to identify trends in delays to the cashier's department and review monthly subscriptions. Resolve problems and concerns of all clients with confidence and control in a timely manner. Create new positions for the office's expansion to ensure an efficient and productive office flow. Work closely with CBO to address issues and trends related to coding, compliance, denials, A/R, etc. Ensure Joint Commission compliance in the practices. Perform other departmental specific job responsibilities as needed. Qualifications License/Registration/Certification: Not applicable. Education: Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience. Experience: 3 years of lead experience; 4 years of physician practice experience preferred.
