Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Onsite | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
