Psychiatric Licensed Practical Nurse | Warm Springs, Montana

Make a positive impact by supporting individuals in a dedicated psychiatric and behavioral health setting. Experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are needed for a 26-week contract. This role provides hands-on care to patients receiving psychiatric treatment, ensuring their safety and well-being within a structured clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 3648 hours per week, according to unit needs
• Day shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime may be available depending on facility requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Accurately administer medications and treatments per policy
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient behaviors and vital signs
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Facilitate and support structured therapeutic activities
• Uphold behavioral health safety procedures to maintain a secure environment
• Share patient updates with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Contribute to care planning and individualized treatment approaches

Qualifications:

• Current, active LPN license (as per state regulations)
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, corrections, or long-term care experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Crisis intervention training (CPI, MOAB, or similar) preferred or to be completed before starting
• Ability to comply with background checks, drug screening, and onboarding

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
