These are great opportunities for candidates who enjoy working in a professional environment and want to become part of a healthcare food-service team.CookOpenings: 2 Pay: $18.50/hour Schedule: 11:30 AM–8:00 PM or 6:30 AM-2:00 PM Hours: 40 hours/week Weekends: Rotating weekends - work one weekend, off one weekend Experience: Kitchen or restaurant experience preferredThe Cook will work as part of the hospital food-service team and will be responsible for preparing food while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and food safety.Prepare and cook food according to recipes and established standardsAssist with food preparation, portioning, and meal serviceMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchenFollow proper food safety and sanitation proceduresMonitor food temperatures and proper food storageOperate kitchen equipment safely and properlyFollow instructions and established proceduresWork effectively with other members of the food-service teamMaintain a professional and respectful environment while working around patients, staff, and visitorsPrevious kitchen, restaurant, or food-service experience preferredFood preparation experienceUnderstanding of food safety and sanitationAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to follow recipes and instructionsDependable and punctualAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to commit to a full-time schedule and rotating weekendsHostOpenings: 2 Pay: $17.25/hour Schedule: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours/week Weekends: Most likely all weekends Experience: No prior experience requiredThe Host is an important part of the hospital's food-service operation.
