This role involves conducting a range of imaging examinations essential for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions and injuries. Responsibilities include performing plain films, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room exams, as well as conducting Bone Density assessments (BD registry required).

• To qualify for a Multiple Modality position, a minimum of 30% of FTE must be in a secondary modality.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
• Adhere to radiation safety and protection protocols.
• Assist physicians in special and advanced imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards in daily activities.
• Submit high-quality images and documentation to PACS promptly, ensuring correct lead markers and patient information.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within the department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
• Work with a constant focus on safety and alertness.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

• Completion of a program in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.

• No prior experience is necessary.

• Regularly required to stand and walk.
• Frequent visual acuity needed for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.
• Regularly use hearing and speech for effective communication.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Regularly assist in moving patients.
• Frequent reaching, gripping, and data entry tasks.
• Occasional lifting of objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional bending, stooping, and repetitive movements.
• Rarely required to kneel or sit.

Required certifications for the state of work location (Missouri, Oklahoma):

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• And one of the following:
• ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Computed Tomography (CT) Credential - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
