Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & DeliveryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to labor and delivery patients. This role emphasizes the application of the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care.Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care during all stages of obstetrical care.Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.QualificationsCurrent NM RN licensure.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.Shift InformationThis position requires availability for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.This is a contractor replacement position, previously held by Erica Lopez. The need for this role has been ongoing since March 4, 2026.
