We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality pediatric therapy services in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve functional independence, self-care skills, and overall quality of life. This role also includes educating families, recommending adaptive equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each child's development. Key Responsibilities * Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and standardized assessments. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals. * Provide direct therapy services and monitor client progress. * Educate and coach families on therapeutic strategies and home programs. * Recommend and train clients and caregivers on adaptive equipment and assistive technology. * Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and agency regulations. * Participate in treatment planning meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration. * Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and support student clinical instruction. * Participate in continuing education and staff training initiatives. Qualifications * Current NBCOT Registration. * Current Illinois Occupational Therapist License. * Infant/Child CPR and Basic First Aid Certification. * Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance. * Ability to pass background check, drug screen, TB test, and required health screenings. * Experience in pediatric therapy preferred. * Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. Preferred Skills * Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy best practices. * Experience working with children with developmental delays and physical disabilities. * Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. * Commitment to providing exceptional client and family-centered care. Physical Requirements * Ability to lift, transfer, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. * Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching. * Ability to work in an active clinical environment.
