We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to provide compassionate, high-quality imaging services within our vibrant community. In this vital role, you'll help early detection and diagnosis efforts, directly impacting patient outcomes and fostering community wellness.

What you'll bring:

• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent with NYS license/registration or eligibility
• Certification by ARRT in Mammography with at least one year of progressive technical experience
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance
• Strong knowledge of mammography and stereotactic breast procedures
• Excellent patient greeting and communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly
• Proficiency in positioning patients accurately and using correct exposure factors to produce high-quality radiographs
• Commitment to maintaining standards as per ACR Mammography QA/QC and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with radiology information systems (RIS) for documentation and billing
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures specific to mammography
• Additional certifications or specialized training in breast imaging

Preferred education and experience:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Minimum of one year of experience in mammography or stereotactic procedures

Other requirements:

• Willingness to work daytime shifts (8-hour shifts) in a community setting
• Travel reimbursement when applicable
• Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements as applicable
