As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate concerns promptly. You will provide professional customer service while supporting access control and daily operations. Pay Rate: $14.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly notify designated facility personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and help prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate written and/or electronic reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
