MFL Academy’s Residency Program

in one of our

Washington offices (Seattle, Bellevue, or Everett) . This role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Bar and plan to reside in the state where you are applying. Residency Program Details: After sitting for the Bar exam, Residency participants will join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy. Residents will receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams, helping them successfully transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar. Starting salary for an Associate Attorney is $135,000 (base), with total possible earnings of $159,000 per year.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range $83,200-$159,000 . This range is a reasonably reliable estimate of the salary that this individual is expected to receive.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets. Requirements Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Register for the upcoming February or July Bar exam for Washington (no score transfers). Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar exam. Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar. Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus. Mock Trial experience is a plus. Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.
