Mechanical Design Engineer

Looking for a Mechanical Level Entry Design Engineer for a family owned and growing company. Candidate would prefer to be local to Southern Illinois, no relocation offered at this time. Looking for someone that wants a solid career and growth. Basic mechanical know how a big plus. Salary is competitive is and will be determined based upon experience and qualifications. Experience And Education Associates degree in Mechanical Design Engineering (preferred) or technical degree equivalent or working towards preferred. Bachelors or higher degree a plus. SolidWorks experience a plus as well. Knowledge of Basic Equipment design and or common Machining principles a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must. Must possess a teamwork orientation and be able to adapt and handle several projects at one time. We are a fairly small organization so we are making continuous improvement design changes on current machines on top of designing new machines. Achieve goals with minimal supervision and guidance.
