RN - Labor and Delivery - Per Diem

Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery, per diem position focused on providing specialized maternal care. Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate effectively with patients and staff through in-person, phone, and written interactions. Provide individualized education to patients and families based on assessment outcomes. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications And Skills Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Current Illinois nursing license. CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties Deliver safe, patient-centered labor and delivery care during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
