Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:


Seeking a dedicated CVOR RN to provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care. The role involves supporting cardiac surgeries and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain the CVOR environment for cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgeries.
• Administer medications and assist with invasive procedures as needed.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and hospital protocols for patient safety.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care to optimize recovery.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, with trauma level I experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Ability to work full-time day shifts (3x12 hours).
• Knowledge of hospital safety procedures and infection control standards.
