The Extended Care Worker assists the Extended Care Coordinator with all aspects of the Extended Care programPRINCIPAL DUTIESSpiritual - The Extended Care Worker shall:Seek to be a role model in attitude, speech and actions with a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ.Show by example the importance of Scripture study, prayer, witnessing, and unity in Christian fellowship.Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with students, parents, staff, and administration.motivate students to accept God's gift of salvation and grow in their faith.lead students to a realization of their self-worth in Christ.Essential Functions - The Extended Care Worker shall:Be responsible for engaging with the studentsKeep accurate daily attendance recordsPlan appropriate and varied activities for the students involvedImplement the discipline plan to maintain a wholesome and safe environment for the studentsMaintain a standard of neatness and orderliness in the base roomModel Godly behavior for the parents and students that they come in contact with dailySeek to build and nurture those students who attend the programReport any suspicions of child abuse, neglect, or maltreatment to the appropriate authorities, as required by North Carolina law.POSITION REQUIREMENTS OR STANDARDSProfesses Jesus Christ as Savior and LordGood standing membership in an evangelical church whose beliefs are consistent with the Statement of Faith of Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Day SchoolReflects the purpose of the school which is to honor Christ in every activityAffirms the ACSI Statement of Faith and abide by the Code of Professional Conduct, CDS Lifestyle Statement and Christian Community CovenantRelates Christian lifestyle and experience to daily life and workFamiliarity with the needs of Lower School students #J-18808-Ljbffr Calvary Baptist Church and Day School
