Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines using critical thinking and independent professional judgment
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout all phases of patient care
• Apply supervisory discretion in managing patient care priorities and responding to emergent situations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required
• Each position listed in work history must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in one role, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
